Ever wondered what is like inside a building that has been closed to the public for 400 years?

Come and take a look around the Mysterium Fidei in the heart of Valetta in Malta.
.
You can see the facilities the nuns still use today for cooking and washing.
.
It's home to a closed order of nuns and has only just been reopened to the public. When it's open to visitors, the nuns remain on the upper floors so as not to break their vows.
.
It's such a beautiful haven in the centre of Valetta!

Prague is a city with some amazing viewpoints. The best, in my opinion, is the one from the top of the tower of Prague's Old Town Hall!
.
This is the same building that houses the famous Astronomical Clock, and the entrance for the tower is literally right beside it!
.
What wins me over about the view is that it's the best one you can get of the Church of Our Lady before Tyn across the square!
.
Tickets can be bought online from Prague.eu or in the Old Town Hall itself. The cost to climb the tower is 390 Koruna, which is about €16.
.

The Old Jewish Cemetery is a haven in the centre of bustling central Prague. You can stroll around the beautifully ornate headstones and tombs, some of which date back centuries!
.
The Pinkas Synagogue is exceptionally poignant because the walls of the building are filled with the names of members of the Jewish Communities from Prague and the surrounding area who were killed in the Holocaust.
.
The Spanish Synagogue is by far the most ornate and it also holds a museum dedicated to the history and culture of Prague's Jewish Community.
.

Chiron was one of Monaco's most famous sons. He was one of the racing greats from between the Wars. He is the only Monagasque (Citizen of Monaco) to win his home Grand Prix, something he did in 1931.

Walking is firstly, and most obviously good for your physical health. It's steady and relatively easy exercise. It's the single best way to begin your journey into exercise or to increase the amount you currently do.
.
Secondly, you get to see some amazing places! I always find when you walk somewhere, you see more than you possibly could if you were driving or even cycling!
.
Thirdly, and in my opinion, most importantly, it is amazing for your mental health. My top tip for when you're feeling down or anxious is to get out into the fresh air and walk. It has the wonderful ability to add clarity to a situation and to give you perspective on the world. I also think that when you walk without headphones on, it gives you a great opportunity to think through things. It is a great way to come to terms with and address anxiety or poor self esteem to the best of your ability.

The Oceanographic Museum is an absolute must if you get to visit Monaco! It's not the biggest or most elaborate in the world, but the species they have there, the layout and availability of information about the creatures is second to none. For me, this makes it the best!
.
It was founded by Prince Albert I of Monaco, who was also known as the Explorer Prince in 1899 and it opened in 1910. He set it up with the purpose of helping people to know, love and protect our oceans.
.
Is not only a museum and aquarium, but also a renound institute for marine biology, rehabilitation of injured marine animals for release back into the wild and for ocean conservation.
.
Do not miss this! Tickets are €19 for an adult and €12 for a child and are worth every cent!

Monaco may not be the first place you think of for a Christmas visit, but it's worth it for the decorations alone! They decorate very well!

I was particularly obsessed with two Christmas trees! I loved the one in the atrium of the Casino de Paris, but I was totally smitten by the tree and decorations in the foyer of the Hotel de Paris!

Almost every time @amylmorrison and I passed it, I stopped to take a photo from a different angle! Here are some of my favourites!

St. Nicolas' Cathedral in the La Rocher area of Monaco's historic centre is the country's main church. It also plays host to all the major religious celebrations
for the Royal Family. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene got married here in 2011.
.
More poignantly, it's also where the Royal Family of Monaco are laid to rest. The most recently interred are also the most famous members of the Princely Family, Prince Renier III and his glamorous wife, Princess Grace. They are buried in the area to the rear of the altar, on the left as you look at it from the main door.

The best part about visiting this major site is that it is completely free!
