While looking like this above the water, their legs are constantly going underneath. Even for them to stay still.

Anyone can feel like this at any time. They can seem cool, calm and collected when you meet them, but their mind could be racing. It could be going a hundred miles an hour.

It's normal to feel this way. So don't worry. If it happens and you are able to pause for a moment and watch the world go by. Your mind will slowly begin to settle.

Following on from yesterday's post looking forward to summer, this is a reflection of what weather I'm actually expecting!

Throwback to my road trip around the Balkans in 2019 when I pushed for summer weather and got soaked when I visited the Plitvice Lakes!

Saying that, I'm glad I didn't cave when I saw the forecast this day!

The day I visited the Plitvice Lakes in Croatia, it lashed rain all day. This was about the only part I didn't get wet in! I still loved every second of it though!

This is very true about the daffodils that pop up every Spring all over Ireland.

Unfortunately they're only around for a few weeks before disappearing again.

Much and all as I miss them when they're gone, if they were there all the time, they wouldn't have the same effect. For me it's a real sign that Spring has sprung.

They truly bring me joy.

As you may have seen from my previous post, I'm showing some appreciation for Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome.
.
In the 1300s, the former Mausoleum of Hadrian became a papal fortress! Pope Nicolas III connected it to the Vatican by means of a covered fortified corridor called the Passetto di Borgo.
.
In 1527, during the Sack of Rome by Charles V Landsknechte, Pope Clement VII took refuge here.
.
Pope Leo X had an artist, Raffaello da Montelupo add a Madonna staute to the chapel and more noticeably, the striking statue of Saint Michael with the sword that sits atop the building!

Following on from yesterday's post looking forward to summer, this is a reflection of what weather I'm actually expecting!

Throwback to my road trip around the Balkans in 2019 when I pushed for summer weather and got soaked when I visited the Plitvice Lakes!

Saying that, I'm glad I didn't cave when I saw the forecast this day!

The day I visited the Plitvice Lakes in Croatia, it lashed rain all day. This was about the only part I didn't get wet in! I still loved every second of it though!

This is very true about the daffodils that pop up every Spring all over Ireland.

Unfortunately they're only around for a few weeks before disappearing again.

Much and all as I miss them when they're gone, if they were there all the time, they wouldn't have the same effect. For me it's a real sign that Spring has sprung.

They truly bring me joy.

As you may have seen from my previous post, I'm showing some appreciation for Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome.

In the 1300s, the former Mausoleum of Hadrian became a papal fortress! Pope Nicolas III connected it to the Vatican by means of a covered fortified corridor called the Passetto di Borgo.
.
In 1527, during the Sack of Rome by Charles V Landsknechte, Pope Clement VII took refuge here.
.
Pope Leo X had an artist, Raffaello da Montelupo add a Madonna staute to the chapel and more noticeably, the striking statue of Saint Michael with the sword that sits atop the building!
