Today, I'm not going to lie, is a bit of a struggle. Like walking on rocks, everything is a bit of a balancing act at the minute.

Thankfully, nothing major is wrong or causing a problem. It's more lots of little things that need to be dealt with in a short frame of time. Getting ready for a pop-up craft fair, a toilet cistern with a slow leak, preparing for an audition, getting the Christmas decorations up and packing sorted before finally getting to visit Monaco next week! Not to mention work and general life admin and housework!

I initially booked to stay at the iconic Hotel de Paris on Casino Square this time three years ago! Covid meant that it had taken me this long to finally visit. The bonus is, three years ago, I didn't have @amylmorrison . Now, she can share the experience with me!

One of the best local tips I got about Donegal was

One of the best local tips I got about Donegal was to go and visit the Grianán of Aileach.
.
Sitting on the top of the Greenan mountain the Grianán of Aileach had watched over Lough Swilly, Lough Foyle, the Inishowen Peninsula and Inch Island since the 8th Century!
.
It was raided by the Vikings in 904 and 939 AD and it met it's final end when it was sacked by the King of Munster in 1101.
.
Now restored it has resumed its job of watching over North Donegal hopefully for many more centuries to come!
.

One of the best local tips I got about Donegal was

One of the best local tips I got about Donegal was to go and visit the Grianán of Aileach.
.
Sitting on the top of the Greenan mountain the Grianán of Aileach had watched over Lough Swilly, Lough Foyle, the Inishowen Peninsula and Inch Island since the 8th Century!
.
It was raided by the Vikings in 904 and 939 AD and it met it's final end when it was sacked by the King of Munster in 1101.
.
Now restored it has resumed its job of watching over North Donegal hopefully for many more centuries to come!
.

The statues that line the famous Charles Bridge in Prague are a big part of what makes this bridge so unique, so beautiful and so popular.

What many tend to do is just walk over the bridge to tick it off their list and to see the truly spectacular buildings at either end.

8. She loves the warmth and a good Palace.

9. She's forever Rome-ing around. (And is a fan of my puns).

10. She's a bit of a messer too and will imitate any statue given the chance!
